MY STORY

I've always been wired differently.

As a kid I took cardboard boxes, attached cardboard wings to it, and used a steel plate as a steering wheel. I just knew I loved making things from scratch.

Then life happened the way it does. School. College. A path that looked right from the outside and felt completely wrong from the inside.

During my last year of college, I got a chance to intern at the FoFX festival. 3 days of coming together, collaboration, creation and real connection in the forests, for nonconformists, multipotentialites, people who had created their own lives entirely on their own terms. And something clicked that I couldn't unfeel. I was surrounded by the realest of real people. People who were made to fit into rooms that felt too small for them, so they built bigger ones.

I started working with the same company once I'd graduated — building a community for such cool people. Festivals, residencies, experiences curated and designed for them. I was genuinely creating. But none of it was mine.

I remember getting these waves of serious lows throughout this period. The kind where getting through the day is the whole task. What kept me going every single time was creation. Writing poetry. Making things. Not for anyone.

That's when I understood something I've never been able to unlearn: creation is the most human thing there is. It comes directly from you — it can't be replicated, automated, or taken away. In a world where everything is increasingly replaceable, what you build from who you actually are is the last thing that isn't.

I went to a coach to figure myself out. And then I decided to train as one — not for the sake of coaching, but for the sake of me. A little shift in month one. A little more in month two. Noticeable, real change by month three. A year later, I left my job.

I started coaching because I kept seeing the same pattern across the 5,000 people I've engaged with in different ways, at different levels — and what I'd seen in myself. So much talent. So many ideas. So much capacity. Just untapped, because people couldn't get out of their own heads.

And for the ones already building — a lot of them got lost along the way. Not because they lacked drive. Because it had stopped feeling like theirs.

I couldn't get out of my own head either, for the longest time. But now that I can do it for myself, I want to do it for other people.

If this resonates — here are a few more stories of the people I’ve worked with…
